Limescale inside the sprayers, try to remove the sprayers normaly a plastic colar turns then it comes off, give it a shake and it will probly rattle with the limescale in it, i think you can put limescale remover inside give it a shake then put it into a bowl of boiling hot water, be carefull you dont splash yourself, if this dosent solve the problem you may have a faulty circulation pump.

Dishwasher turns on but does not fill. Motor runs, lights are on, buttons respond to pushing them, but doesn't fill. Whirlpool 24in DU927QWD

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. To start with check the water inlet valve which is located behind the lower access panel on the left or right side of the Dishwasher. If the water inlet valve is bad you have to replace it, also check the main water line for clogs/obstructions. If still the issue is not resolved then it’s a bad float switch and needs to be replaced. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

Dishwasher won't drain, filled with dirty water

My husband and son actually fixed it and proceeded to do the Happy Handyman dance all over the kitchen. They took off the kickplate on the front, and cleaned out the hose, then took off the sprayer in the center of the unit and cleaned it out too.....lettuce, a plastic spoon, dog hair and a set of vampire teeth later, and my dishwasher is working like new. Also, I ran a cup of white vinegar through just to get rid of the stink and it worked great!

Whirlpool Dishwasher GU1100

ill asume that were talking about the upper most spray arm, maybe 5 inches across and mountsto thte top of the tub??? if this is so, the new spinner comes with a clip that closes together after placing in proper position, its a "push" style pin lock, so no tools are required, simply pushe the pinin from the borrom ofspinner through the top of manifold and pushe second ave of connecter down onto it , ther should be no problem with this

More likely: the solenoid which directs the water to either the drain or the spray arm is clogged/jammed. Located underneath near the drain line.

Washing

It could be a motor or a pump issue. The dishwasher has a motor that attached to a pump which forces the water up into the sprayer arms and during the drain cycle, it pushes the water out of the dishwasher. The motor (and pump) located beneath the dishwasher. Check if motor spins. In case it spins, the problem is with the pump ,in case it doesn't spin it could be a motor problem or a motor and pump problem. Good luck
