Although I can see the Navman working the backlight is not working. Any help I rang Navman and they said buy a new one!!!!!!!. Hello Clariss.- I think that your problem is Battery, I had same problem and I changed it. About the front keys, In start -> setting -> buttons, you can solve this problem. Greetings Jaime
if you click your windows icon and select from the dropdown box, Settings, then click system, then gps and click on, then exit completely and try again.
Try Start Settings System GPS and tap ON before starting the satnav program. Not all programs automatically switch on the GPS. On hitting ON yellow light top left starts flashing. Now start your satnav program..
tap on "GPS Status" (second page of GPS software) and be sure that the box is checked in the upper left hand corner. In the same screen, be sure com 8 and 9600 (baud rate) is shown.
On the main menu (Start-- Win Logo) go to settings. Then go to system at the bottom of the screen. Tap on Power. At the very bottom of the screen in small print go to "Adjust Backlight settings to conserve power". Click on "backlight" in blue print.
