My whirlpool dreyer does not work. power turns on

Does it do this in all setting on the dial, normal,heavy ,delicate?

did you hold the start/resume button for at least 3 seconds if this works the dishwasher will start ok but if there is a fault it will fail again best you contact your nearest service agent good luck

whirlpool electric dryer will not start when you push start button. Model No. LER5634AW0. There is power to the dryer. The door switch appears to be working,(didn't check it with a meter). I push the start button, run it through all the cycles and still nothing. Are there any resets or circuit breakers that I could check? Where do I go from here?

OPEN THE DOOR/PUSH THE START SWITCH ON DRYER/THEN PUSH THE DOOR SWITCH/HAVE A PERSON TURN THE DRUM/IF IT STARTS TO TURN (DRUM) OR STILL HUMS AND DRUM WILL NOT TURN YOU HAVE A BAD MOTOR/REPLACE MOTOR.

Turn your power off and reach inside the drum and rotate the drum 1/4-1/2 turn, turn the power back on and try pushing the start button again.
Sometimes motors get dead spots in them and this helps to move it from the dead spot.
If that doesn't solve the problem try to listen very closely and see if you can hear the motor running...if it is then the problem is a broken belt.
Otherwise could be your timer switch faulty, or the start switch faulty.

check thermal fuse inside back of dryer usually little white fuse unplug and ohm out should ge a reading if good

Check the door switch. Also it could be bad contact in the timer.
