Try clicking the middle round button and going forward until you ind date and then time. Click on them and you'll be able to set the date/time. My camera id the same but it's the s124. They're both similar and really works the same, exactly. It's just the different number. I hope this helps! :)
The ViviCam 5022 does not record sound when recording video. You can add a soundtrack using video-editing software on a computer, but you cannot record one on the camera. Thus, with no audio capability, there is no volume control.

Make sure you're not in the macro mode. There's a slide switch on the end of the camera, near the SD card slot. Set this switch to the mountain position. Also bear in mind that the flash is for still photos only, not for videos.
