I had a similar problem with mine and I left it for a while and it sorted itself out. It is possible to manually set the time and date by following the instruction manual.

If you no longer have your manual, you can download it by going to the casio website "casio.com", select "support", then "manuals", then "watches"; agree terms and conditions and select "watch manual archive" and put in the information off your watch to obtain the manual.

AFG 3.1 AT TREADMILL, DOESN'T KEEP HOUR AND DATE

If your AFG 3.1 AT Treadmill is not keeping the hour and date settings, it could be due to a few different issues. One common cause is a weak or dead battery in the console. If the battery is low or dead, the console may not be able to retain the settings you enter.
To fix this issue, try replacing the battery in the console. Refer to the user manual for instructions on how to access and replace the battery.
Another possible cause of this issue is a malfunctioning console. If replacing the battery does not solve the problem, you may need to contact AFG customer support or a professional technician for assistance. They can help you diagnose the issue and determine if the console needs to be repaired or replaced.

My watch not working how to setup

  1. Check the battery: Before attempting to set up your watch, make sure that the battery has not run down. If the battery is dead, you will need to have it replaced by a professional watchmaker or authorized Breitling service center.
  2. Wind the watch: If the battery is not dead, you may need to wind the watch to get it started. Most Breitling watches have a self-winding mechanism, but if it has not been worn for a long time, it may need to be manually wound.
  3. Set the time: Once the watch is running, you can set the time by pulling out the crown (the knob on the side of the watch) and turning it until the hands are set to the correct time. Push the crown back in when the time is set.
  4. Set the date: If your watch has a date function, you can set the date by pulling the crown out to the second position and turning it until the date changes. Push the crown back in when the date is set.
  5. Synchronize the time: If your watch has a chronograph function (stopwatch), you may need to synchronize the time to ensure that it is accurate. You can do this by starting the chronograph and waiting for it to complete a full revolution.

Is there any way that I can set my Seiko perpetual calendar watch at home?

What a great watch! It has a super-fine piezo-electronic motor to move the date wheel! Very cool. Its quite a show to go through the date/leap-year check, and then observe the watch catch back up to the correct time afterwards. Battery lasts ~five years.
I downloaded the manual (your model number on watch back) after a short search online (beware of trojans/viruses).
Setting after a battery replacement requires shorting certain pins inside the watch to set the leap-year, and date. The back unscrews, and may require the special watch-wrench, available online. I unscrewed mine VERY CAREFULLY with fine pliers, confirming that I was doing this in a clean, dust-free location. The instructions are quite specific, must be followed carefully to set up correctly. Have a fine wire jumper to set the leap-year. I learned this because I did not want to pay an inexperienced jeweler $100 to replace the battery.

How to set time day date on my timex indiglo cr2016 watch

To set the time and date on your Timex Indiglo watch with a CR2016 battery, follow these steps:
  1. Press and hold the stem (the button on the side of the watch) until the display begins to flash.
  2. Use the stem to cycle through the different settings: time, day, date, and year.
  3. When you reach the setting you want to change, use the stem to adjust the value.
  4. Once you have set the time, day, date, and year to the correct values, press the stem to exit the setting mode.
If you have trouble setting the time and date on your watch, you may want to consult the manual that came with the watch for more detailed instructions. If you do not have the manual, you may be able to find a copy online or you can try contacting Timex customer service for assistance.

I cant set the date, because I got the battery replaced and I the date is two days late

Use the manual to set the correct time zone, time and date. Manual is available on the Casio worldwide website>support>manual>watches.
Have the module number at hand: you will enter it to find the manual. The module number is a 3 digit or 4 digit number on the back of the watch.

I replaced the battery. The watch started time from Jan. 1

You have to set the year, the month and the date. Then you set the time zone. After that you can set the local time. You may also have to set the Daylight Savings Time.
The watch has a built in calendar that may run from let's say January first 2000 to the year 2070 (just a guess). If you set the calendar correctly you do not have to adjust the date when a month has 30 days, or when it is a leap year.

I replaced the battery in my casio wave ceptor watch and the time and date displayed now is incorrect. How do I set the proper time, or will the watch access the satellite and set itself?

Hello Wifferdil38,

I believe that I've located a manual for your watch which will help you to re-set the time and date. Please click on the following link:

http://ftp.casio.co.jp/pub/world_manual/wat/en/qw2556.pdf

Please let me know if you need anything further.

The date and time are changing by themselves

I had the problem with locking on chrono function. Then I decide to replace battery, after replacement watches become crazy, hands were moving all the time, it was impossible to stop it. I remove the battery and leave watches on the table for 5-6 days, then install the battery again. No problem any more, all functions are available. May be you have the same kind of problem. Good luck!
