Viewstation FX - connection issue

We are trying to connect our viewstation FX to a polycom VSX7000. It will let us connect to the VSX7000, but we have no video or audio on our end (veiwstationFX) ... but they can see and hear us on thier end (VSX7000).

I ran a test with another viewstationFX outside our network, and it worked just fine ... is there something in our equipment that needs to be adjusted to connect with the VSX7000 correctly?

    My Vwstation FX H.323 when connect with VSX7000 anytime lost connection when show slides. All two systems are updated

No, you do not need to subscribe. Are you sure your a/v cables are connected properly? You might also check on your video source and make sure you are in the correct source.

Polycom Fx doesn't power on or show any signs of life
Try disconnecting the ISDN module and then cycling the power. If that doesn't work speak to your support provider about repair costs. Ultimately you may need to replace it because of its age (it might be End of Life and not available for repair)

Um; just a thought but if it's software is Win98 and if your system is running XP SP2 or Vista I'd say you really do need a Guru. A simple answer like running in 98 mode under XP/Vista may not work.

As far as the manual goes, "Google" will generally get you what you want. I did and got www.labx.com as a starting point for your manual. many other lisings for it..

Connecting a polycom
No, i don't think si. The polycom needs an ethernet connection to a router. You might get this working by putting the 3g card into a PC and enabling connection sharing, however even if you got it work itsd a bad solution in terms of:
- Cost
- Reliability
- Security.
ADSL would be better.

How do I find the MAC Address for my Polycom ViewStation ISDN Video Conference?
I just called Polycom and the guy said it starts with 0003 or 0004. Sure enough I had one of those numbers, it was the same as the serial number on the box the phone came in. This number is found on a sticker on the back side of the phone. Easy to find, but not labeled as a "mac address"

Are you able to move the camera using the remote?
If not, then you may have a hardware issue.
If yes, then try to connect to the Viewstation (web interface) using its IP from a Computer.
