Hi, My macbook wont turn on with the battery plugged in, the battery will not charge. When I turn on my macbook w/o the battery the screen flashes white then turns black, it will stay on for a few minutes then show a very very dark (almost black) log on screen before turning off again.
Dont buy a new one as we may be able to repair. These boards are Not Complex by Industry standards and weve had excellent luck tracking and repairing them. (So Glad Apple went Intel).. Talk soon...
My computer used to do the same thing, I found out it was my motherboard / logic board and a hardrive combination. end cost $1500..so i bought a new Laptop. Go and get those things tested.

could be a number of things including the power block faulty, a break in the power lead, the power regulator in the macbook or even it's just plain old dead. if the macbook lights come on when it's plugged in and nothing else happens when you press the power button, odds on it's just dead.
remove the battery and replace again and plug the adapter and turn on laptop.
if you cant see anything .please look carefully your lcd panel and see it is starting up and bios messages.
if yes.
your back light cct is gone....
i think no problem with flash player and it was hardware failure..
regards,
nuwan.
Each time you charge your battery, the charge capacity is decreased. After a large amount of charges, the capacity is decreased to an amount only enough to turn on a/the screen(s) for a second. Try getting a new battery.
