Need help with Control Panel lights...some work, others don't. Trying to start wash, and when you press the Normal wash, it doesn't light up. The cancel light keeps coming on when "start" is pressed.
It seems as thought the "touch" sensors are bad..any suggestions??
cycle stops - no lights - press cancel drain its led blinks. -press any other key the rinse only light blinks.
About the only thing to try would be to remove the inner door panel to get to the control bd then you will see a mylar ribbon looks like a fat piece of scotch tape pull up on the plastic connector that holds it in and pull the ribbon out then get a clean pencil eraser and gently clean the ribbon and put it back in dont forget to push the locking tab back down then try it again and let me know

Can you explain the issue in detail - is your dishwasher not working at all, or the buttons continue to be lit up, etc?
First and foremost, check the dooe switch to see if it is functioning properly.

Probably a keypad gone bad. Try replacing the keypad.
There is a troubleshooting guide behind the foot kick panel. It gives a sequence to test for a bad keypad. You can try that sequence to be sure.

first thing to try is to disconnect power for 15 minutes and then try again if goes into default again take off bottom panel and behind the black trim will be a tech sheet see if it gives yousome diagonostics sounds like it may be the computer if the power off and on doesnt make it work,.

before receiving your response i arrived at the same cause - with the panel loose evrytime the cycle stopped and led's were blinking i touched the ribbon cable and the led's and washer acted normal. i will try the pencil eraser fix but it also could be a cold solder joint on the oin connector itself. the ribbon is terminated in a connector with female pins that mate to a male pin connector on board i will let u know.
