I have an 11 year old American Heat electric tankless water heater model 220 that has stopped heating water. I've replaced one heat element in 11 years. This model has 3 heat elements, so I assumed one...

The more resistance the elements have the quicker your water heats up. Resistance creates the heat. If a new element is 7 ohms, it is more likely than not that your elements are not the issue.

Working instructions for creada electric wall heaters modle 79351S

sounds like the electric economy 7 heaters too me, i had them and hated em.

basically the heaters work between 1am-7am or similiar.

the best way is to think of it as a battery, it needs to be charged and the output is whatever your using the power on.

the higher the number on the input the more heat is stored into the heater. the higher the number on the output the more heat that is released.

i always put mine on 5 to store the most heat and left it on about 3 so it would always release and charge.

hope that helps

Creda storage heater manual

I'm not a heating expert, but according to the information I could find, Economy 7 utilizes cheap electricty at night, during off-peak hours (7 hours) between midnight and 7AM. Economy 7 costs about 4p per unit compared to peak electricity, which is about 10 to 15p per unit. If you do not have Economy 7, you can request it FREE of charge from your electricity provider. You will either have one meter with two readings or two separate meters. A two tariff electric meter will record the electricity used during off peak times, so it can be billed, separately, at a lower rate. If you have two meters, one meter controls on peak daytime electricity and the other controls your night time economy 7 electricity.

I would need to know what model Creda heater you have installed in order to determine how energy efficient it may be. I also will need the model so I can determine operating instructions. If you need further assistance, please post back and let me know. I hope this helps.

Yesterday I had my heater converted fro LP to Natural gas (technician replaced orifice). Now heater makes loud whistling sound when burner is on. Stop making noise when heater is turned off and only blower...

The wrong orifice was installed. Sta-Rite changed their blower configuration 3 years ago. Heaters older than that have a flat orifice that works with the older style blowers. Newer heaters are equipped with a tapered orifice. Mixing a flat with a new blower causes whistling. Mixing a tapered with an old blower causes whistling. Good luck!

Economy 7 water heater prblem

If you are still getting power to the HW heater, more than likely the heating element has gone out. They can be easily changed from behind little panels on side of heater. Usually screw in.

Blinking Clean light in Whirpool dishwasher

Control is programmed to stop running and not allow any further cycles if it detects a water heating problem (no temperature increase detected in heated Main Wash on 3 consecutive cycles). Control blinks the Clean LED 7 times repeatedly and disables the Start/Resume key until cleared. Running Diagnostics clears the control and allows it to operate again. The water heating problem must be fixed or the control will stop running again. See potential causes below. Heater circuit problem: ■ Open in heater. ■ Open connection or component in heater circuit. ■ Faulty heater drive circuit on control. 1. Check operation of heater in Diagnostics cycle. 2. Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power. 3. Check resistance of heater and all components and connections in the water heating circuit or heat dry circuit.

Creda economy 7 heaters not working!

Whe you turn the heaters on again after they have been off you have to keep them on maximum for 48 hours (both input and output dials) to get the bricks warmed up for regular working
