Hi I have a Siemens Gigaset SE587 WLAN dsl that was connected to Tiscali. I have just swaped to O2 and they have sent me a router but the old one seemed to have better wireless coverage. Any idea what the settings would be for the Siemens Gigaset SE587 WLAN dsl to work with O2 - O2 don'tlp as it is not one of thiers!!

Yes you can adjust signal with channel type.
For that Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link.
http://192.168.0.1
or
http://192.168.1.1
If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it.
Then it ask for user name and password.
Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank.
Then you can see configuration page of router.
Then click on wireless settings and change channel type to 4 or 6 or 11 then save settings and restart router.
Try all 3 1 by 1 then check.
