I guess you mean the Keypad Lock/Unlock!

You can turn on the keypad lock of a handset.
In idle mode, press * button and then LOCK to turn on the keypad lock. "PRESS UNLOCK TO USE KEYS" is displayed on the LCD.
In keypad lock mode, press UNLOCK to turn off the keypad lock.

they say if you tap the pad twice firmly in the upper left hand corner this will unlock the pad! some hp's has a light button on keypad, you tap the lighted button twice firmly just as you do with out lighted button

I'd put it back on the charger and see if that unlocks it.

Hi, you have to press the play button on the top of your device.

the button that has a red encircled is the mute button.
everytime you lock your keypad, you have to press that mute button to unlock it

The lock/unlock button is located along the top of the Tour, on the left side. It has a little padlock icon, and if you press that button it will unlock your keypad!

theirs a button that you slide up and down. ... (you may try to push it but it wont work... you need to slide the button.) I had to go to my sprint store to figure this out.. :)

To Lock your phone
Hold down the # symbol on your phone until it says: "Phone Keypad is now Locked"

To Unlock your phone
The screen should now read in the bottom right hand corner "Unlock". press the corresponding key. It then asks "Unlock Keypad?" "Yes" or "No". Select Yes and press Menu button (also the play/pause button).

Sounds like the power button is possibly stuck or broken. Razr's aren't very durable. Did it get wet or dropped recently?

software problem, go to your service engineer and ask him to reformat your phone...
