Error code 0x80040905

Seen this with instances of installing Google Earth under Vista and Windows 7.
IF you installed Google earth, try re-downloading the file and running it as administrator
Some issues with Win 7 Ultimate if you are using that, check on the Google website for the most compatible version.

This can also happen with Google Chrome

Lord of the rings the battle for middle earth 2 will load on Windows 7 but will not play...it just sits and thinks....it gets stuck. Is there a patch or some solution? Thank you, [email protected]

Try running the game in compatibility mode under properties. (Try XP SP3), and while you're in properties click the `run as administrator` check box aswell.
If that works then your game was probably just not meant to work with Windows 7.

CanoScan N1220U Scanner Windows 7 64-bit Driver

You may use Hamrick VueScan Pro, it installs a driver that makes 1220 to work. Or, if the version of Windows 7 you use support XP Mode, install it.

It's still a good scanner, and mine is working in 7 x64 using XP Mode!

Windows 7 problem with video card (Intel 852-855)

I've search about that chip video card of your motherboard, I don't it has a software driver for windows 7, maybe it's not supported yet to run for windows 7.
I have a link here but for only Intel 852/855GM/865G/845G/910G/915G Graphics Driver 14.9 Windows 2000/XP. www.Intel852GM.com/vga
And supposed to be for the windows.
All you have to do is buy a new VGA that support for windows 7, at least now many kind of VGA card available. Hope this might give you some ideas.

After downloading google earth--I get this error message constantly no matter what program I am trying to access. I have un installed the program to no avail. c:/proga~1/google/google~1/ GOEC61~1DLL is...

Install, then reboot your computer. Make sure when you install, you are signed in as the administrator (that you have rights to install programs...). Once you log back into Windows, go to add remove programs and uninstall Google earth. Reboot again.. Make sure you are not receiving the error. If not, try installing again. The problem seems to be that the dll in question is not registering with the system properly.
