It is the protection counter error, the amount of ink discharged by the printer has reached the maximum value allowed and the printer requires to be reset.

To clear the error follow the instructions you can find here:

http://myprinter.altervista.org/simplefaq/mysimplefaq.html#counter

Once the error has been cleared the printer returns operative, however to avoid further problems you should check and clean the waste ink pads where discharged ink is stored.

To reach the pads you have to disassemble your printer, you can find an exploded diagram here:

Have got error 1203 how do i solve ?

This means your catridges overflow, even from new catridges after several prints or right after you refilled the catridges. Follow the steps below
1) open the printer
2)remove the cartridge.
Now look - the problem is not in cartridge, the problem is in scheme from printer that touches the cartridge from behind.
You must clean this scheme from ink with a peace of soft paper ( use the kleanex for example ).
When you'll do this - let the scheme to dry for a while and after insert the cartridge. The Solution:
Use a klennex with a few drops of water to dampen and clean off the contact on the holder.
The refill ink work very well if you let it sit 24 hrs. Then before you print anything, you should run aligned the catridges a couple times then run clean catridges a couple times.
Print the test page to see how it's look and way you go.
Be sure not to leave any debris of klennex on those holder contact panel.

Printer MP160 service error 5010 after refill catridge

I had refilled the catrige, then when I start to print a 'service error' window will appear. At the LCD screed shows E.. 4 ..2. I believe the printer simply assume the catridge is depleted, but how can it happened as I already just refilled it.
How to make printer detected the catridge as a full? I really hope you can solve and make my refilling mission succesful and my printer work again.

How can i let my printer to detect and accept the ink?

I have the same problem. According to another site I visited you will not be able to solve your problem by refilling the 28 cartridge (black ink). You will need to purchase a 28A ink cartridge which is refillable.
