My daughters rio does the same thing only a little over a year old. Rio customer support does not exist they just told me to go to the website, you have to either buy advice for $19.95 which is ridiculous or buy a new one . They are no help, I want to open up the player and try to replace the battery has anyone tried this
I used an earring to press the reset button, and I turned the player on as I let go of the button. It seems to be the solution for many problems with the Rio CE2100 so I'd say it's worth a try. And if you're looking for help on the Rio website, it is there, it's just really hard to find.

I can't get the player to do anything. It turned on and that's all
I was charging my Rio ce2100 and it got unplugged and now its frozen on
"Rio USB Connecting Please wait" is there anyway to fix it? If its of
any helpi got it used.
