Either the wires arent plugged in or your tv has a technical problem with "Tv Input." If your tv had wiring problems with the red/yellow/white cords, wiggle the cords until something is shown on screen and try to keep it shown on screen with something. Hope that helps.

Try the different inputs on your TV to see if its black and white on all of them. If thats the case then try another TV, if its still black and white then its a problem with the Wii. If it works well on another TV then you know the original TV is the problem.
Post what version of Wii Fit (NTSC, PAL) your playing and what version Wiiconsole your playing it on. Also post the mod chip and firmware your using and if your playing a backup or original.
Your TV goes black & white, because your Wii could be NTSC or PAL which. If your Wii is PAL and your TV is NTSC then the TV will show a blac and white color. Since NTSC is for North America and PAL for Asia
i bought a wii sometime near launch and ive had no problems. make sure all the cords are plugged in all the way.also if you have another game system try it and see if it does the same thing.if not your wii might be messed up.
