Sanyo tv no manual needs tunning ?

Most universal remotes don't have all the functions of the original remote controls.You may be out of luck unless you can find an original remote. There are web sites that sell original remotes. Just Google TV parts stores.

Programming a universal remote does not change any settings for the TV. If the original remote is not working you may want to try changing the batteries. If this does not help, the remote itself may be bad.

lost remote I now how to tune in with out it , but a key symbol as come on so will no longer let me tune in how do I get the key symbol off as it locked it self it if so I need a remote to unlock it thanks

Contact the authorized service center for Sanyo at your town to buy one original remote control. Universal remote controls won't go with this set for all functions.

Depending on how old your TV is a cheap universal remote should contain the codes for your set as a replacement. All TVs have manual tuning buttons, often the very few they have left.
Look for a heading; PROG or TUN or CH or CHAN between arrowhead symbols pointing either to left and right or up and down on any front panel of manual buttons, probably behind a swing-down flap.
There will also be a button varoiusly headed STORE or MEMORY.
There are two main procedures of manual channel tuning which both end with pressing a Store button either once or twice when you've set the channel you want.
A few minutes of experiment once you've found these should put matters right.

I don't think you'll get rid of the on-screen ident until you get the original remote. The symbol you need to look for is a TV screen with a cross in it
[+] a bit like this. It is possible that another SANYO remote may do the job for you, but is best to have the remote which goes with the TV.

some times on the universal remote ther are more then 1 code that will work with your tv. some codes will only do some things try all the codes on the remote for that brand. you should find one that works for you with 3 remotes you have a better chance of getting the right one hope this helps you

What is your universal remote control? if its not philips magnavox you try this universal remote control you will set the code match to your tv sanyo which you will see at the back of the instructions manual when you buy this remote control. follow the instruction of the manual on how to enter the code for tv. thanks.God bless you. i hope it will help.

Your in the video mode so you have to change the input. On the original remote, its the button left of the power button. A universal may not work for this. If you need the original remote, Its available at http://www.remotes.com Good Luck
