I have a 1967-706 Farmall IH splitting a transmission
I have a 1967-706 Farmall IH I need to know how to split the transmission from the rearend. any suggestions. I have removed all the bolts but it still not split apart

You must remove the plate from the bottom of the transmission. Look for a shaft that goes from the rear through a gear. Remove snap ring from in front of gear and it should roll apart then. On reassembly be sure to change gasket and all o rings to prevent hydraulic suction leaks

loosen the bolts around the gear shift and put the shifter back into the slot that is not lined up in the center usually it just slipe out and you cant change gears even if it feels like you are.
