I have a Saeco Incanto Classic and the ventilate message will not disappear, even after sending 4 full watertanks through the steam nozzle. The solution posted above does not work.

Having read the other reviews here, I was prepared for the cryptic "VENTILATE" message. (The manual refers to this procedure as "Loading the circuit", which doesn't help to clarify things.) Of course this refers to what Americans would call "priming" the machine. As mentioned in another review, there is a plastic hand pump supplied for priming, but that is only needed in the event that the electric pump fails to self-prime. All I had to do (following the quick-start instructions) was to select the Hot Water function; the internal pump quickly primed itself. i hope this helps Lee Davidian

Testimonial: "After days of frustration, I managed to push the hot water function last night, and viola, the ventilate message disappeared! Thanks for your help!"

That is the EXACT same problem I am having!!!!! I am going crazy trying to figure this out. They want me to ship it to them but I really do not want to have to do it because my other one was destroyed that way.

Ventilate

Just try to pour some hot water out from the steam wand after some seconds the veltilate massage will go out. This mean that any steam or air blocked in the water system must get out from steam wand.
Good luck

How do you correct and clear the ventilate message on a Saeco Incanto Classic Espresso Machine

A tech just walked me thru one fix. If it is stuck on ventilate it could be just because the value is stuck. He instructed, quickly open the value. As soon as it makes the "hum" pull off the silver knob and push hard on the beige button as if you are pushing it to the other side of the machine. For me this worked!

Ventilate shows, nothing works

There is an air lock in the hydraulic line of the machine, thats why it is calling for ventilate, if hot water valve is open and it is still calling for ventilate, then it is possible that the valve is blocked, it might be at top of the wand or at the tap rod assembly.

Saeco Incanto Classic Espresso Machine Saeco Coffee Machine Type SUP 021YDR Display shows Ventilate when I follow instructions and turn the Hot Water and the water knob the water is not coming through....

Do you get coffee? If it is just no water/steam, could be a blockge in the steam wand, or blockage in water lines. First test easy one - the steam wand. If the steam wand is o.k- then check for blockages in water lines/components ( pump, boiler, steam boiler). If you do not feel confortable with testing all the untis where water flows, contact Saeco USA Inc. to locate a Service Center near you at 800-933-7876 (toll-free), ask for customer support, or contact SAECO via e-mail at : [email protected]
