9 months ago I purchased a Kegorator Mod KRS-2000. Last week it shut off. I unplugged it checked the cord and plugged it back in. It blew somekind of internal breaker as soon as I turned the thermostat on. I turned it off and the breaker reset. This repeats every time I try to start it up. There are no obvious shorts that I can find. Whats wrong?

THE CLICKING SOUND IS A RELAY PULLING IN ITS LIKE A SWITCH CONNECTING TWO WIRES. THIS IS A GOOD SOUND BUT IS USALLY FOLLOWED BY SOMETHING COMING ON FAN ETC... CHECK TO SEE IF YOUR UNIT HAS AN LED LIGHT ON IT AND HOW MANY TIMES IF ANY DOES IT BLINK?

Listen very closely to the dryer right as your pushing start.Is there any sound at all.Listen very closely because its critical on making the diagnosis.

if the heater and thermostat are good and wired correctly then the only other thing would be the defrost timer board.

No error code like PF Some times unplug for 2 hours.to 6hours for it to reset.

SOURCE: Refrigerator cools as normal. Trips 15 AMP circuit breaker.

a full size refrige has to be on a 20 amp circuit, a 15 amp is just not big enough.. you should also know that this circuit has to be on a 12-2 gauge wire.. I also highly recommend installing a 20 amp HD receptacle
