Refrigerator Buzzing Ge Side by Side frig. Will not dispense ice, frozen water on my food items, and now the buzzing noise is continous I can't sleep! Can you tell me how to stop the noise?

Try taking off the fan cover and see if the blade has slid too far forward on the motor shaft. If that's the case just push it back a bit to give it more clearance( do this with the fridge unplugged)).. It could also be ice buildup which is then hit by the blade at the slightest pressure..

They offer a heater kit that has to be installed in the dispenser area of the freezer door. Once installed, in about a day the water line should be defrosted enough to dispense water again. If you don't hear that buzzing sound when trying to get water, you could have a bad inlet valve which is at the lower back of the refrigerator where your house water line hook to the refrigerator.

Try unclogging the drain line for the freezer. What seems to be happening is your refrigerator is working too hard to keep the temperature that it reads inaccuately. Usually a light defrost will do the trick , sometimes a longer defrost or one using warmers...don't be too tempted to use anything like a hair dryer for safety reasons.

Make sure you keep your frig door closed and use the frozen food in the frig to hold temps down.

If that model listed above your post is correct then you may be hearing the water control valve buzzing and trying to open. If the ice maker works then the water supply is OK, but if the dispenser will not fill the glass the we need to have a look at the dual control valve on rear of refrigerator near floor and where household water enters your refrigerator. If your model is the PSS26MSRSS Profile/Artica the water control valve part number is=> WR57X10032 and unless it is frozen in the water reservoir inside fresh food compartment you mot likely hear it trying to open.It may need to be replaced. Probably the condenser fan motor is going out they will often make noise for a long time before anyone notices. Get it looked at soon. overheating the compressor on that old of a fridge could spell trouble.

Checx the wire connection and the way u food is inside ur frig. Maybe something is not at the right place!
