How to Perform a WebUpdate of the Garmin Nuvi 205 and 205W System Software

Does your Garmin Nuvi 205 or 205W get stuck or freeze at startup or when loading maps?

One trick to try when your GPS is acting up is to perform a Hard Reset.

Occasionally, your GPS may not start properly at all, and display a 'System Software Missing" message. Today's tip will describe how to restore your Nuvi GPS system software using Garmin Webupdater.

The first step is to download the WebUpdater software.
Plug in your Nuvi GPS into your PC with the USB cord.
Run the WebUpdater program to install it to your PC and update the system software of your GPS.

Your Garmin Nuvi should be running as good as new.
