You didn't indicate what type of connection you have between the TV and the PC. The basic color scheme is red-blue-green, so your tint sounds like it's missing the red. It could be a cable problem, can you try replacing it/them. Or it could be a problem with the computer. If you don't want to return it you could try a different video card. I'm assuming you are using the motherboard video drivers.

How can I fix a synmaster b1630 monitor that has green tint on screen now?

If your LCD TV or monitor has stopped working, or is displaying one of the following symptoms, then it's a candidate for some new capacitors
- Flickering screen
- Screen image disappears after several seconds
- Dim screen
- Slow start
- Power LED on, but no picture
- Unusual colors and/or lines
The primary cause of LCD TV and monitor failure is caused by faulty capacitors. You can examine the capacitors in your LCD TV or monitor and actually see if they are bad.
If they appear bulged on top, then they need to be replaced.
New capacitors will solve a host of problems in LCD monitors and TV's and will extend the life of your monitor or TV by several years.
Check the cables, connectors and connections.
Take it to a repair shop.

Wd65738 flickering

I had a TV do that about a year ago, the repair man said it was the color wheel inside the tv. I changed the bulb to see if he was BS'ng me and eventually got the manufacturer to send a color wheel and I change it myself, was very easy...TV works fine ever since. Hope this helps

Monitor has bluish tint

You should check to make sure the cable is tight at both ends (back of the computer and back of the screen). If it is, and you've already replaced the monitor, it's probably the video card in the computer. If your computer is still on warranty, I would suggest contacting the manufacturer or the retailer where you purchased it. If not, it looks like you'll need a "PCI-Express x-16" graphics card, which you should have professionally installed.

Samsung txh1970 tv screen has green tint

I encountered the same problem with a color computer monitor several years ago. Everything went green. The repair techies told me that's a sign that the power supply is going bad. You will not be able to adjust the color. You will have to either fix it or replace it. Hope this isn't a common problem with this model Samsung TV.

HI Bernard,

This sounds to me like the video lead is loose. Could you please try the video lead each end and tighten the locking screws if possible.

If the whole screen has this tint problem, there is nothing you can do. It must be repaired. You will need to take it in for service.

Bluish screen

Before spending money on a new video card you might not need. Check all your connections. I have a monitor built into a Radio station announcer's desk and it goes blue at switch on. All I did was reposition the input cable and problem solved. It was caused by a fractured wire or two in the output cable and moving it made them make contact again. It's worked for 4 years now, if it really dies then I'll have to pull it out and replace the whole cable. Check that all your inputs and outputs are firmly plugged in and any securing screws are finger tight. But remember the old tech's saying "If it's gonna go wrong it'll usually be in the first few weeks" BMW
