you will most likely have to go to the dealer to get the code because they need the vin number to give you the code. they usually won't give you the code over the phone.the owners manual will tell you how to reset the code but you still need the code.
Check your owners manual in front and back and the radio section to see if it has been hand written in there by the dealer. IF not, record the VIN number and call the dealer, he will pass the information onto the manufacturer and they will give him the code. he will call you back at no charge. If it is for the 4 cylinder, it's not that easy as the intake manifiold needs to be removed before the starter can be removed as the starter is under the intake manifold. Once the manifold is removed then it's a matter of a couple bolts and connections. It's not that quick a job.
2003 and up Honda Accord with 4 cylinder engines do indeed have a chain and the V6 has a belt which must be replaced at 110,000 miles. Why? Ask Honda, they designed the engines.
