Adding Music To My Sansa e250

So I used Windows Media player to put music onto my mp3 player, but it does not show up on my device. When I plug it into the USB it shows up as used space on my computer, but I cannot play it on my device.

The directions are pretty short and sweet and do not offer any troubleshooting information. I just want to know how I'm supposed to load music onto my device!!

When i connect my mp3 to the computer about 600 songs show up and it tells me that i have used up half of my memory with songs, but when I disconnect it only 121 songs show up and the other 460 songs don't, what can i do to fix this???

I use the copy and past method for adding my music, I just went and added more songs because my old selection was getting boring, and although they are all in the Music folder along with my old songs, The device won't read the songs as being there.

Thanks bluebunny.
i know all this, i added music simply copy-paste and its all very easy. the reason im using wmp is to create a playlist. thats what i cant handle. people say its really easy, but once i connect it it shows me the root directory(the one where the hidden music folder is) and i can only create playlists using files not hidden. as in Recordings.
i have tried to make a to go list with 1 song in it and then open it up with notepad and change it in the same manner the player does. but it doesnt seem to work with me. added few songs, but player wouldnt recognize the file i made.

also i just tried to unhide the Music folder, so it would maybe read it. nothing works. the only folder media player shows me is Recordings. creating playlist with winamp didnt work either. :/

I never use Windows Media to add music to my sansa... If you want all music to show up click on my computer and then click on the icon for your sansa. there may be a folder that says music but if not it is a hidden folder. if this is so you must go to tools, then folder options, and then the tab that says view. under this will be an option that says hidden files and folders and click show hiden fles and folders and OK. this should allow you to see the music folder. from here on you can just copy and paste all files.

Sansa E250 how do I put songs onto the mp3

Go to My Computer and then look for the Sansa 250 icon there. If it doesn't show up, unplug the USB cord and plug it in again. Once you have the icon visible in My Computer, click on it twice and open it up. To load content, go to wherever you have MP3 files or whatever and use Windows Explorer to copy the content from your computer to the Sansa. You can also manage it through Real Player or other MP3 players (Media Monkey).

Finding the music to delete

Use Media Monkey instead, or change Windows Media Player's configuration, so that it sees more songs.
