Warm setting how do you get the crock pot to go directly to the warm setting?

Units such as the "Countdown" and "Recipe" Smart Pot™ slow cookers have a designated warm setting. Basic Smart Pot™ slow cookers have an automatic warm feature that activates a keep warm function when the cooking time expires. This type of warm feature will not activate without the set cooking time expiring first.

My crock pot has 0;I,II and a pic of pot ..what do these symbols mean and how do i know when my food is done

The pot setting is for keeping the cooked food warm. Crock pots are not automatic food cookers User interaction is needed to turn it on or off, much like a stove. In other words, human interaction is required. I suggest using a timer or alarm.

Just been given crock pot with 3 settings can you explain them no manual came with pot

It sure would help us to help you if you could get the model number off of the bottom of the unit. I can probably locate a user's manual with that information. Try this site to locate the manual: (my best guess without a model number)
http://safemanuals.com/314159.php?k=84c8d7db0922eceeab89e8e236b92e45&ID=2854106&q=CROCK%20POT%20SMART%20POT
(209k)
Find the little blue print that says enter security code and then you can dounload the manual.
The settings should be OFF High 4 High 6, Low 8 Low 10 and warm.

1. Place food in stoneware according to recipe.

2. Plug in Smart-Potâ„¢ slow cooker. The Power light will begin to flash

indicating that the unit is plugged in, but not turned on.

HOW TO PROGRAM YOUR SMART-POTâ„¢ (CONT.)

3. Push the Cook Time button to scroll through the timed cooking

options. Push once and the 4 hour light will illuminate, twice and the

6 hour light will come on, etc. Select the time based on the length of

time indicated in the recipe. Two time options are usually given. The 4

and 6 hour settings are the HIGH temperature setting and may be

used when you want your food done quicker. The 8 and 10 hour

settings correspond to the LOW temperature setting and is used for all

day cooking. In addition your Smart-Potâ„¢ can be set to the Warm

Setting by scrolling through the timed cooking options until the warm

light illuminates.

NOTE: The Warm setting is for keeping already hot food warm. Do not use

the warm setting to cook or reheat food.

4. When the cooking time is completed, the Smart-Potâ„¢ slow cooker will

automatically shift to the Warm setting and the Warm light will come

on. NOTE: We do not recommend using the Warm setting for more

than 4 hours.

5. To turn the Smart-Potâ„¢ off push the OFF button. Unplug unit from the

wall outlet.

6. For other recipes that give a range of times, select the time closest

to the setting on your Smart-Potâ„¢. For instance a recipe calling for

cooking time of 7 to 9 hours on LOW, set your Smart-Potâ„¢ to 8 hours.

NOTE: If power goes off then power light will blink and settings must be

reset. If cook time is changed before the cycle is complete the time will
reset to the new setting.

Need directions for presidents choice slow cooker

Heat intensity is warm, 1, 2, 3 (highest)
How to operate: Plug in. Set timer to amount of hours to cook. Press the SELECT button to scroll thru 4 settings - "warm", "1" (Low), "2" (Medium)", "3" (High). Once the desired cooking temp selected, press the "round circle" power button to begin cooking. The time display will now start to count down to "0:00" When the cooking time has been reached, the slow cooker will automatically go into "warm" mode for a maximum of 6 hours, then automatically turn off. NOTE: Not recommended using the WARM setting for more than 4 hours at a time. NOTE2: To stop the cooking process at any time, press the "round circle" power button. The unit will default to "0:00" time but the indicator light in the "3" high position will remain on.

Can't go straight to warm setting

Hi, Guys,

I discovered this solution by accident. To get my crock pot to go to the "Warm" setting directly, I begin by pressing and holding the "Cook Time" button. Then, with the cook time button held down, press and release the "Off" button, holding it down for a second or so and then releasing it. Finally, lift your finger off the "Cook Time" button. Presto! The unit will be set on "Warm." So the key to this is to press and release the "Off" button WHILE the "Cook Time" button is being held down. Might take a couple tries before you get it, but then you'll see that it works every time.
