To view the code for your DVD player, click on the model of your DVD player in the Sony hack list on the website.

Perform the tasks included in the unlock code. For most Sony models that can be unlocked, the unlock code is not as simple as pressing a few buttons. You may need to open the tray on the player or power the unit on and off multiple times as part of the hack.

There's a slide switch on the top of the Sansa, near the headphone jack. Slide it away from the jack to unlock the unit.

To unlock your DV-SL2200W player follow the below instruction.

try with the disc tray closed. and if that doesn't work turn player off by plug socket and turn back on and start from the setup menu part of the unlock code after turning player back on.
