if you just bought it it probably is the shiping pin. it is a large boldt in the back of the front load machines, smaller pin in the side or rear on toploaders. it keeps the drum from spinning in transit. people forget to pull them all the time. especially if you installed it yourself. If that isnt the problem, try leveling it. Newer machines spin much faster than older ones and one tiny bit off level will make it rattle and shake.
