Frigidaire Dryer not drying clothes properly

Dryer not drying clothes like it used to. It's about 2 years old and recently it takes about 50% to 100% more time for a load to dry. Here's what I've done and discovered:
1. checked complete exhaust ducting, all the way from inside the dryer, past the fan, through the internal duct to the connection in the wall. All clear, and very little lint was found. (dryer is plugged into a 240V circuit)
2. noticed that some heat is being produced, so either the heat element is okay, or element might be partially working. Not sure how to tell
3. checked the following guide to try to produce an error code. I got an E68 (button stuck), but suspect that's a red herring because all the functions seem to work (see Function Test Sequence in the following link), although I suppose it may point to a bad electronic control panel. http://manuals.frigidaire.com/prodinfo_pdf/Webster/134682200ts_wd_EFS.pdf
4. ran the second function test in the above guide (Drive motor runs; heat source is on. Drying LED is lit “H” and the control thermistor reading will toggle back and forth in the display) and the reading started at 88 and within about 5 minutes went up to 130; then started dropping until 121, then started to rise again. Could this mean a problematic thermistor control?
5. the wiring diagram in the above guide indicates there is a “High Limit Thermostat” connected next to the heating element. Is this a potential problem
6. the wiring diagram also shows a Thermal Limiter and Heater Relay. Could these maybe be malfunctioning?

Is there any way for me to determine which of the parts (heat element, control thermistor, thermal limiter, heater relay, electronic control panel) might be the problem? Or is it better to call a repair person?

Frigidaire affinity dryer takes long to dry

Ray makes good sense. Also, check the lint filter and the venting pipes for lint buildup/obstructions. This will prevent the exhaust from leaving the dryer and raise the temp level inside. That causes the elements to stay off longer to avoid excessive heat buildup. And until all the moisture-laden exhaust is successfully vented, the clothes will not dry properly.

Hi, my stackable frigidare dryer isn't doing a very good job drying my clothes. The unit is about 3-4 years old, but has only been used for 2 years.

Make sure the vent is completely clear and the air blowing out is a pretty strong flow. It could be a defective thermostat too. Another reason is sometimes the washer doesn't spin the clothes out enough and they are too wet to dry normally.

Kenmore 417.80042990 (10 year old) dryer makes a squeak as it tumbles the clothes dry. Seems to be worse as the clothes get dryer. FYI-the felt was replaced about 4 years ago, not sure it's that. But...

this is a frigidaire made dryer with kenmores name on it. The drum bearing needs more grease. You really need to know what your doing before you take that job on yourself. Its easy for me...but I have been doing it for 20 years and thats the way I role

Frigidaire model # FG01442ESO, is not drying.

I would replace the gas valves on the dryer. They are located just before the igniter on the dryer. Make sure you unplug the unit and turn off the gas before doing this repair. Good luck

Take too long time to get cloth dried

how much are you putting in ? Is it a 220 volt dryer? May have a dead line (electris) to heating coils, or thermaostat is not functioning and letting the dryer coils get to operating temperature. Your heat setting control may be faulty. I wouls look at heat control first.
