How do I convert my GPS coordinates to google earth coordinates to find the same location on the ground?
GoogleEarth: save the waypoints in a KML file (NOT KMZ) to your computer, naming it appropriately.
Go
to http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/gpsbabel/ and convert the KML file to a
GPX file, using their converter. They will present you with a file to
download. Download it and send those waypoints to your unit and you'll
be set to go.

I've marked some spots on Google Earth that I would like to navigate to with my gps [Garmin e trex Legend cx] Google Earth puts out coordinates that read like this: 43°58'38.99"N 121°4'36.03"W and the gps is set up to read like this: N43' 58.500 W121'13.857. How do I convert the GE coords to the GPS format..?. thanks..
I have followed the steps that you outlined for Goody391 , but when I download the file to my computer the gpx file automatically gets converted to an xml file which my Garmin Legend cannot use .
