THE GOAL HEAR IS TO DETERMINE IF THE INSTALLATION IS CAUSING YOUR PROTECTION FAULT OR IS IT THE RADIO OR AMPLIFIER ITSELF HAVING INTERNAL DAMAGE. REMOVE THE RCA INPUTS AND DISCONNECT THE SPEAKERS, THEN POWER THE AMPLIFIER UP WITH THIS NO INPUT, NO SPEAKER LOAD CONDITION. IF IT STILL POWERS UP ON ITS OWN, THEN REMOVE THE REMOTE TERMINAL COMING FROM THE RADIO. IF THE AMPLIFIER SHUTS OFF, THEN YOU MAY HAVE A SHORTED TURN-ON TRANSISTOR WITHIN THE RADIO AND IT IS OUTPUTTING THE DC NEEDED TO TURN THE AMPLIFIER ON. IF YOU REMOVE THE REMOTE TURN-ON FROM THE RADIO TO THE AMPLIFIER AND THE AMPLIFIER STAYS ON, THEN THIS POINTS TO A FAULT WITHIN THE AMPLIFIER AND IT WILL NEED TO BE SERVICED. MAKES SURE THAT THE AMPLIFIER AND RADIO GROUNDS ARE 100%. LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED FURTHER ASSISTANCE.....V

SOURCE: i have a kenwood kac-728s and two coustic 10in.

That is pretty much saying that the amp's power supply is shorted or at least has a low resistance path to ground which is causing the fuses on the amp to blow. The amp has protection circuitry to prevent damage to the output stage so that is not what is causing this. Is the amp new?

On a coustic car amplifier 100A what plugs into LOz wires?

Normally you would use the RCA input jacks (red/white) on the amp to get audio from a radio or other sound source into the amp. But, some radios and audio equipment (especially older gear) only have wires that connect directly to speakers. Those wires can connect to the LoZ inputs on the amp instead of the RCA jacks.

Amp is wired but power light not comin on

it might be cheaper to just buy a new amp then to fix it cause i would go for MTX or coustic cause its almost the same company. Coustic is made by MTX and the price is good for the quality.

Coustic Car Audio 12RS Car Speaker Watts

That all depends.

I have a Sony Xplod Sub, also 12" and 4ohm, and it is a 1000w sub.

But my friend has sub that is also 4ohm and yet it is only 500w.

The ohm mean nothing when trying to figure out the wattage.

Try www.coustic.com for more info (site will not load for me)

Coustic 800s 4-Channel amp,getting bad rumbling noise.

Sounds like it could be a bad ground. Make sure also you don't have your gain turned up to much on the amp. I know it sounds like a volume control, but it is to balance your input with your output. Also does this noise happen when vehicle is running or off or both.

So the startup red led shows an over current condition, if your sure the speakers are OK then you will need to go "under the hood". The best start for this is the following web site:

Coustic 601se power on but bad sound

This is generally caused when there are blown output transistors but that generally causes the fuse to blow or causes the amp to go into protect mode.

If you connect a 15 amp fuse in series with the main power wire and it blows when remote voltage is applied, the amp is drawing excessive current. The problem could be either in the power supply or audio circuits.

Do NOT apply power without having the transistors clamped TIGHTLY to the heatsink. They can fail in seconds when there is a problem. The heatsink helps protect them.

Hooked my punch Punch P450.4 up to speakers and ran rca cables to front and it wont work

Hi Jon,  you need to hook the Remote wire up to the Radios  Blue remote wire.  The car battery power stays on all the time.  The blue Remote wire watches to see when the radio turns on, and signal the amp to turn on as well.
