Faint black bar rolling from the bottom

I have a faint black bar rolling from the bottom of the screen to the top how can I stop this?

If the bar is black or purple you can try to use a ground lift plug and see if your having a grounding issue.

inverter is bad..
if screen has a little white 2 pin jack, which plugs into a little board
then its that little board is bad .if it has one gold jack
alone and plugs in at bottom of screen , then its screen bulb bad
new screen !!!

This TV needs a service adjustment done. Looks like a vertical or horizontal IC is failing. I'd go ahead, and shut off until services adjustment is made. Have you unplugged for a few minutes and plugged back in? However, I'd have a service tech look at it.

Screen won't stop rolling out

There is a rubber grommet on the left top of the projection screen, insert the supplied Allen key and turn anticlockwise and adjust turn by turn till the screen rolls out with just 2 to 3" of the black border shows on the top

v1 is your verticl scan has stoped for a reason,akb 1 is the feed back from the crt to the video ic, hv 1 is high voltage stop the set ,clear the error codes and start again record them and conpare the results for the true fault.

Greeeting from Belize you are having a problem either with cold solder or a problem in the power supply those lines are hum bars due to a defected filter cap.resolder your power supply if that does not solve the problem then you replace the power supply you can get a power supply kit from www.dalbani.com in florida.good luck.also make check in the vertical section if you cannot do it your self take it to a qualified tech to resolve your problem this should cost you about $75.00. to get it fix.
