Hi, was wondering if anyone could help me out... I have a Canon Pixma mp160 which won't print because it doesn't recognise my colour ink cartridge (which is "CL51" - which, according to the troubleshooting IS compatible.) I have reinserted the cartridge several times but it still doesn't work!
Can anyone make any suggestions???

My printer wont take paper

now it says it doesn't have paper
and it does
When inserting the cartridge press down firmly on the top front of the cartridge....There are electronic contacts that need to meet with the printer...
Note; Make sure if you are purchasing a "third Party Cartridge, that you don;t need to take the chip off your old cartridge.
If so, you'll also have to do a reset.

let say the printer can't detect my ink, will it affect my scanner as well because when i try to scan an image. it could not be started, instead a window came out saying that the printer is undergo maintenance progress. what does it mean?
