I need a PUK code. At&T gave me one and it does not work. I even took out my sim card and put it in my husbands phone with the same puk code and it still does not work.

Account holder needs to call the phone provider and ask for the PUK code. The PUK code is a code to unlock the SIM card, not the phone.

To get the Puk code to unlock your phone,you will have to contact service provider which is specific for each mobile number.

Puk code does not affect the phone your using,but it affects the Sim card and it unable you to make out going calls. And you will not have access to thing on your Sim card.

To get your Puk code for you Sim card,you can contact service provider located in your area for help.
You can go to any of your service provider outlet stores around your area.Or you can contact them through customer care line..Am sure you know their phone number to contact them.

You can not get a Puk code to unlock your phone from another source except through your service provider service..

hi, if you have had the phone and sim card from new then the PUK code is usually written on the card that the sim card was attatched to so if you still have this then look on their for the PUK code if you dont have this then dont worry just read on.

The PUK code is the security code for the sim card and if you get it wrong more than 5 times then this would block the sim card and it cant be unlocked.
To get your PUK code for that sim card all you need to do is contact your service provider and ask them for your PUK code they will give you this for free over the phone all you need to do is give them the sim cards phone number and also your details they will then give you the correct PUK code for that sim card.

Every single sim card maid has its own unique PUK code so the code they give you will only work with that sim card you gave the phone number for.

You could also try going to your service provides web site as you can usually get the PUK code off their web site.

you have entered the pin code wrong 3 times now you are required to enter a puk code to reset the pin code. 

The puk code is sim card spesific it comes with the sim card when you get it or you can get it by calling your phone service provider of the sim card to get the puk code. 


if you have entered the puk code wrong too many times you will make the sim card useless and you will have to contact your phone service provider for a new sim card, it will probably cost.
