There should be a Language change option in the Menu. Our Panasonic Mini DV cam has Language options only for English, Spanish, French. If your camera does not have an English option, you may need to call Panasonic Tech Support for help.
I would search japanese text for words like the word language and maybe the word settings. Most instruction manuals lay out the actual menu procedure, you will have to search *** character text for all the words in the menu to get back to the language option. Good luck, cause that sucks.
Download the driver from the site then in the help menu go to the language setup. You might have to guess your way around in this but refer to Panasonics other insturuction manuals you should know when you scroll to the english section.

This model has been discontinued so support for later windows editions are not likely. Windows 2000 is the last version you can always run your compatabilty mode with 2000 for optimum preformance. 1.find a japanese person and ask him to do it for you 2.find an english manual and follow the same steps 3.find an online translator and try to translate the steps
