Door open sighn comes on display drum does not

check drum belt, safety fuses and door switch..

You have a faulty door switch. Here is the replacement switch.
There is a video on that same parts page to show you how to replace it.

Open the dryer door and slowly rotate the dryer drum in a counterclockwise (CCW) direction. Rotate the drum 2-3 revolutions and then shut the door and see if it will start. If it continues to just hum and not start could indicate a voltage issue, motor issue or a friction issue. Open the door again and locate the door switch plunger in the upper or lower corner on the hinge side of the drum opening. Hold the plunger in while someone begins rotating the drum counterclockwise. While turning the drum counter clockwise and holding the door switch plunger inwards press the start button. If it starts, there is likely a friction problem or motor problem.

My Kenmore Elite dryer keeps beeping..just going through the end of cycle alarm-high,low,off...anyone have any suggestions?

OPEN THE DOOR/PUSH THE START SWITCH ON DRYER/THEN PUSH THE DOOR SWITCH/HAVE A PERSON TURN THE DRUM/IF IT STARTS TO TURN (DRUM) OR STILL HUMS AND DRUM WILL NOT TURN YOU HAVE A BAD MOTOR/REPLACE MOTOR.

You need to reset the drum counter.I'm not sure that working with your model but try it.
Try opening the front door cover and keep open. Then pressing clear, it should say replace drum, press 1 for yes, it should then say accepted, close cover and turn off.

You have to reset the drum counter.Do that by opening the front door and press and hold the reset button.The machine will display a message if the drum were replaced.Select yes.

Strange. Heaters usually shut down with the spinning drum when door is open. If you check the schematic for unit you can check to see if in fact this is correct operation. Attached site usually has schematics for appliances. You might want to check. Search Over 2 1 Million Appliance Parts

H2 00 Thermistor open, your fusing unit needs to be serviced (cleaned or replaced)

The black copiers can be a number of things a few things to check and what the remedy could be;

1. Open the right door, if you notice a lot of toner/developer spilt then you could be having a charge corona short (built onto the drum unit) clean corona
2. Open the right door, if you drum (green or blue cylinder (depending on brand of drum) under your fuser) is coated with toner (should be all green/blue) then you could be having a drum short, replace drum unit for this.
3. Open the right door and on the door towards the bottom is a metal unit with a white guide built on it (transfer corona) if there is a lot of toner/developer in it (looks dirty) then this needs to be cleaned or re-built.
4. You also could be having a board issue causing the black copies.

You have to go to the display and let the copier know you changed the drum ther is a code number you enter not sure for this model

If power does not come on you have not seated the drum or any comonents (there are safety switches in doors and corona ara and fuser area re open and close again
you should get a display
