I Have Fault Codes on the Display.

This error codes indicates that one of the toner cartridges you have installed does not contain a valid chip on it. If you recently changed a cartridge that is the likely culprit.

Try looking up that specific error code and it should tell you what you need to do.

That error indicates that there is a problem with the cartridge rotation motor. This is not something you can repair yourself. You can check and make sure your toners are fully inserted and that the carriage is not jammed, also check the transfer belt and make sure it is installed correctly. Other than that this will involve disassembly of the printer.

EEEPROM means that the onboard chip is corrupt. 49.FFOR is code for nothing.

Unfortunately you will have to recycle.

49 error simply means that the print job that was sent contained information that the formatter on the printer was unable to understand. This is most commonly caused by out of date firmware.

If you are using windows go here and download the easy firmware update utility and then run it. This should fix your problem.

Replace your paper pickups and set your paper tray setting correct, both in the tray and the settings menu. That should help you out. The part# for paper-pickups is RF5-3739.

Download driver from HP web would be the easiest

Is the disk Vista compatable?
