My daughter has played around on her new LG KP500 Phone,somehow it has locked & she needs a PUK code. Can you help please?

These directions are for an AT and T phone, but other than that, are the same for any carrier. A PUK (PIN Unlock Key) code is required to unlock SIM cards that have become locked following three successive incorrect PIN entries. You can try 111111 or 000000 sometimes this is the default. The PUK means the sim card has been locked. You can call your service provider(T-mobile?) and ask for tech support they will walk you through it. Worst case scenario they will issue you a new simcard. If there is a T-mobile store (not 3rd party IE Walmart) close they will help as well.

The PUK has been set up by Virgin, you must phone them to get it since they are the only ones that know it.

1.pls call your sevice provider from an another cell of same sevice provider
& tell your details , then they will tell your puk code

means ur simcard was puk or lock or impossible it.better buy new card and use it.its not ur phone,its ur card

the PUK code is nothing to do with your LG KP500 Cookie,
it is on the SIM Card, not the phone,

the PIN code has been entered wrong 3 times,

you need to call T-Mobile and ask them for a PUK code,

this code is also someties printed on the sim card packaging sticker.

or if you dont need that actual sim card, you can just get a new sim card to use.

Hi,

As you put incorrect password three times or more depending on your mobile model, it will have ask for the PUK code.

To get the PUK code please call your service provider they are the one who can provide you the PUK code.They have a security check so as to make sure the mobile is yours.After you satify them they will provide you the PUK code.

Please enter the PUK code and you can type new password.

Please call your networks customer care for your puk code.. only they'll have puk codes

There are websites online that provide unlocking services for a fee. If you google "phone unlock service" you will see many options.

There is also another way to go.
You can call yout service provider (ex. ATT, T-Mobile) or the company that branded the phone (the company that the phone is locked to) and tell them that you would like the unlock code for your phone. They will probably ask WHY you want the unlock code. Tell them that you will be going out of the country and need the phone unlocked in order to use a pre-paid SIM card in the country of destination. They will then get you the unlock code typically within three days. Hope this helps.
