The laser lens needs cleaned most likely, you can purchace a cleaning disk, or take the unit apart and used a eyeglasses cloth and very gently wipe the lens clean. the lens will be very small and near the motor that spins the cd. when wiping it off, wipe in one direction only. if that doesnt work then the laser has become weak or has quit working

Nakamichi cd cassette player 1 not spinning discs

There's a Music Bank 7-disc player in use in my bedroom these days. Nice unit, but they used to come in for service once in a while- from what I could tell, these units don't 'park' the CD drawers on a soft power off- they simply shut down. When powered up again, they sometimes let the disc last in play slide off the tray & jam the machine. I've had no issues, as long as I always hit stop, wait for it to park, and then shut off. The analog output's sound has been very good (has a coax out as well).

Hello i have a omt 1987 1015 lights power up but will not play when you select led shows record to be playing but does not play will not show credits or house hits have checked all fuses none blown have...

Is your 3 digit display on? If not, does the Z LED Flash when rotating the record carrier? If so, you may need to have your computer repaired. If the Z LED doesn't flash, check the 12 volt fuse in the amplifier. If you need your computer repaired or further assistance, please email me, Rod Stebelton, [email protected].

Nad 502 CD will not recognise and play CD every time

HI.This will occur when the optical assembly becomes unstable. this ((Whole One Piece)), assembly incorporates the spin/load motor, optics housing /arm, tracking device and tracking rail. This is connected to the loading dock assembly. This 'NO Disc' or CD NOT PLAYABLE, code is the result of a failed or burned out lens, or misaligned loading mechanism. It is possible that you have a dirty lens cap. you can try using a cleaning disk in this case to confirm actual lens failure. if the cleaning doesn't restore normal reading capabilities, this will confirm my diagnosis.

You will need to have the optical assembly replaced in this case. once replaced, your unit will be able to read and track once more

Aiwa CSD TD310- manufactured 2001 - looks like this(above)1)Problem getting cd to work; 2)need help with "sleep" button:how to set

Well, for the CSD-ED27 the sleep works like this:
1. press STOP/MEMORY and then also
2. press PREPEAT/FM MODE/OSC
3. your display will show 10
4. use the tuner - & + to good from OFF-90 mins

As to you CD player not playing:
it is sounds like the spinner might be not spin completely flat to the optical reader. This happen with my portable CD player, however at this time I do not have a fix for you. Good luck though.
