Jum error 102 on blackberry bold

Jum error 102
I have downloaded desk top manager and connected phone by usb but a message pops up on the screen asking me to verify that my device is connected - I can't get riid of this message and so cannot click on anything else to solve this problem

    Who is your provider? You may need into install the Handheld Software on your computer, and then run the Application Loaded from Desktop Manager. I can send the link to the file you need.

Jum error 102

Hi,

This issue needs to be corrected by reloading the device firmware which requires Desktop Manager. Your only other options are to try removing the battery for a few minutes or try booting in safe mode. To turn on safe mode, complete the following steps:

1. Remove and re-insert the device battery.
2. When the LED light goes out, press and hold the Escape key as the device is loading.
3. When the dialog box appears, click OK.

My blackberry 9700 has a white screen with a message saying JUM eRROR 102. Please help me asap

You need to reinstall your device OS to regain access to your device.

Check steps below for OS upgrade -


Before starting make sure that BlackBerry Desktop Software is installed on the computer.


Make sure that you have installed updated device software installed in your PC. Check this link to get update device software from carrier OS download site.


Users can perform a full or selective backup of the data using the Backup and Restore tool in BlackBerry Desktop Manager by completing the following steps:

Connect the BlackBerry device to the computer running BlackBerry Desktop Manager

.Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

Double-click Backup and Restore.

Select Backup to perform a full backup or select Advanced to perform a backup of specific databases.

Choose a location to save the backup file, then click Save.


To perform a clean install of the BlackBerry Device Software, perform the following steps:

Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer and open BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

Double-click the Application Loader icon.

Click Next to start the installation process.Type your BlackBerry smartphone password, if prompted, and click OK.

Click the check boxes next to the names of the applications you want to load, and then click Next.

Click Advanced, and then click the check box beside Erase all currently installed applications.Click Next.

Click the check box next to Do not automatically backup the application data during the loading process.

Clear the box next to Backup and restore applications installed wirelessly.

My blackberry 9000 says JUM Error 102 Reset only i cant find my cd that came with it how can i fix it to work again

With any JVM Error you are going to need to reload the operating system to your device, this process is slightly different with each carrier, so it is important to contact them during the process, first (if you have not done so already) Download and install the Blackberry Desktop Manager to your computer, The Desktop manager can be obtained from blackberry.com once installed you will need to download and install the most up to date software from your carriers website,then follow the instructions to install the software to your phone, now unfortunatly your going to lose any information you have not backed up to your computer

Your mobile OS (operating system ) has been damage , you have to re install your OS with desktop manager

Problems on blackberry 9700 jum 102 reset screen all white please help

Your software is corrupt. Go to att.com/bbdownloads and download and install the software for your phone. If you do not have desktop manager installed on your PC, then you have to go to the same website and download and install the lastest version first. You download the software to your 9700 through the desktop manager through application loader.

Jum error 102 on new blackberry bold phone is frozen with white screen and message 'jum error 102'

First, download and install the latest version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager software from: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22&dl=DA5FB46338C8C0DCB1039F7898184FC5

Once installed, connect your BlackBerry to your computer via the USB sync cable. Open Desktop Manager, and click the Application Loader. On the right, you will see Update your device software. Click the Start Button, and if your BlackBerry is not on the latest Handheld Software, an update will appear. Select the update, and run the install. Be sure to select the option that backs up and restores your data. Once started, do not shut down your computer, or disconnect the USB sync cable as this could damage the device.

Once completed, your BlackBerry will restart and you will have the latest version available. This version has been known to correct various issues.

If the issue is still present, then it could be hardware related, and may need to be repaired or replaced. I would then suggest contacting your Provider for Hardware Support.

Try to reset, firstly by removing the battery, leaving it for 30 seconds and power on

Failing that ALT, RIGHT SHIFT and DELETE for a couple of seconds
