Fifa 10 on the PS2 crashes when trying to 'advance to match'. All menu screens are fine just stops when I try to play a match. Any ideas?

This is a very common problem with 18wos try changing your game resolution to match your normal display settings. If that does not work try re-installing the game.

I am also facing the same problem on my windows 7 pc...whenever i open the game fifa 2000 its open normaly ,selecting the match and team , then go to play the match it get stuck "tell that windows explorer has problem running fifa 2000.so close the program automaticaly.:) :). I need a solution please anybody tell me how can i fix this ..:)

Go to you nearest game store and get it cleaned... Could solve the problem.

I think it might be the drive itself. Go down to Radioshack,PC World or where ever(not wal-mart) to get it checked out.

one thing you should do is try to put either alcohol or perfume on tisse paper and wipe the dvd. it should work. another thing it might be the laser that is damaged. but try the perfume or alcohol it works.

Sir, you probably have been playing this game for a long time or u might have mishandled it,that might have cause a portion of data on disc to be erased.You might see the scratches on disc your self.....the scratches on disc cause usually the same problem i,e some time game works fine but sometimes it wont work.....you chould consider buying new Disc of FIFA 08......the problem can also be with your lens get your lens cleaned by some lens cleaning CD or do it yourself (you'll just need one screw driver) carefully with a piece of clothe or tissue without touching the lens....Hope that might solve your problem

Buy a new one. I try all thwe solutins you can bring up. none work except a new game!!!
