I put memory card into a card reader and it got stuck and now memory card doesnt work

if theres a slot for an sd card on your computer you need a micro sd card adapter. if it doesnt have an sd card slot you need to buy a usb memory card reader (making sure it takes a micro sd card first)

 

both are widely available in supermarkets/electrical outlets or on ebay/amazon/play etc and are very inexpensive.

first try to format it in your camera. if that doesnt work, try another camera or on your PC. If that doesnt work try formatting on a different card reader (maybe on another PC)

if that doesnt work, it might be really defective. Have it replaced

simply check the memory card through card reader if it works then u have to check the socket of phone where the card is to be inserted..
that one is causing problem...may be its pins are not propely being connected with the memory card..

if  the card doesnt work even with memory card reader then the card is faulty...or if u dont have memory card reader just put your memory card in another compatible phone to check..
or get another card and put it in your phone for checking..

well i heard on another website - that because the memory card can hold alot of memory, the computer doesnt accept it, so you need to use a usb memory card reader, ebay sells it for like £1

maybe the card reader is not SD/SD HC compatible, the same problem occurs wiith the Memory Stick Pro/Duo of sizes 2GB or above in my Desktop Computer (Compaq) and not in my Notebook (Compaq) the card reader and the machine are newest and are compatible

Is the card reader built into the computer?
I know there are a few card readers out there having trouble reading 2 gig memory cards if the computer or card reader was built over 5 years ago.
If you have a data cable for your phone and software for the phone, your computer should be able to read it that way.

Try to put the memory card into the card reader of any system. If nothing comes, your memory card has some problem and is better to get it replaced.

   To enable ur memory card just put ur memory card in memory card reader & try to enable it from there..if it doesnt wrk than the only thing left is to format ur memory card.
