Samsung SH-S182D DVD doesn't open dual layer dvds

Hello! Recently i bought 10 dvd dl discs and burnt them in nero 7 ultra edition in dvd udf mode since files were bigger than 4.2 gb. I didn't check discs back then as there were no information about any error. Today i wanted to burn more discs and i discovered that neither empty or burnt dl discs were visible. I mean that when i insterted disc to drive it doesn't even spin discs to higher speeds, I just heard the optics working as if the drive is trying to read content without succes. Also, in nero when im trying to burn discs it ejects dvd prompting for another disc. Can you help me out ?

select 4483 if you burn single layer dvd 8152 mb for dual layer hope you will rate me fixed...

Burning dvds with realplayer

DVD discs come in two capacity sizes.
Single layer DVD have a capacity of 4.7 Gb
Dual layer DVD have a capacity of 8.5 Gb
Some DVD burners are single layer burners only and cannot burn dual layer discs.
The error message you are getting would indicate that the disc you are using is not large enough to copy all your program material.

Burned DVDs play on PC but won't play on home player. I have 3 PC (2HPs and 1 Parts built),running XP home, pro, media. I bought 2 Samsung SH-S182 DVD±RW Dual Layer Burner, and have tried them on all 3...

Nero 6 and 7 does not provides us the facilitiy of burning the DVD in appropriate DVD Format. Instead it burns the DVD in the normal DATA Format, which is not supportable by our DVD Player. To play the DVD in our DVD Player we should burn the DVD in the appropriate DVD Burner which itself converts the extension of the movie and make it proper for a DVD Player to read it. It also adds some files to the DVD which is sometimes used by the dvd player in running the DVD.
