Does anyone know the factory code for the Sentry A5835?

  • Anonymous Dec 05, 2017

You can go to sentry safe's website, enter your model and serial number (pay a fee...) and get the code and replacement key. Or you can call the customer support number and do the same.

Factory Reset Code Sentry Digital Safe Model #SFW082F

As far as I am aware there is no such thing as a Factory Reset Code otherwise every burglar in the world would be using it. You can ask Sentry Safe, but they charge and you need a signed affidavit that the safe is yours, and the serial number, BUT your husband has changed it.

You can use the key to open it, they all have a key in case the battery goes flat.

Or you can just open it with a rare earth puck magnet. They are not at all secure!

I have lost the combination for my safe model V330 my model number V330 Sentry safe

  • Open your Sentry safe by typing the five-digit factory code (found in your owner's manual) on the keypad. It's always a good idea to change your combination while the safe is open, so that you don't inadvertently lock yourself out.
  • Delete any existing codes by pressing the "P" key and entering the factory code, followed by "00000." On older safes, press the "PROG" key and entering your factory code twice to delete old codes.
  • Press the "PROG" or "P" key again on your Sentry safe's keypad.
  • Enter your safe's five-digit factory code.
  • Enter a five-digit code of your choosing within 5 seconds. This is your user code. While the factory code cannot be changed, your user code can be changed as often as you like, and that should be your primary code to open the safe. Only you should know your safe's factory code.
  • Retype the user code to verify it is working, and then close the safe.

How do I open a sentry s3877 safe when the battery is dead and safe is closed

The factory code combination to your electronic lock will remain in the memory of the unit - even if the batteries go dead. Any use programmed codes will be lost if the batteries lose power. The Sentry programmed factory code is always your default code.

If you do not know your factory code, you can follow this link for your combination retrieval:

Csw3607 sentry safe will not open. when i use my 5 digit code the red light beeps 5 times. when i use the factory code it does the same thing. Sentry has told me to take it to a locksmith and have them cut...

I hate to tell you, I just had this same problem on a brand new safe (x-mas present) and ended up having to crack it open. Unfortunately, from my extensive research on this problem on Sentry Safes it turns out that they use an encoded IC chip on the solenoid and if either a serial wire breaks going to the board or the IC chip fails, you get the 5 beep-of-death error. Needless to say, I'm thoroughly disappointed in Sentry and will discourage anyone from purchasing their products!

We have a S3877 Sentry safe. The battery appears dead so I can't use the code. I also have the key but since the battery is dead it is no help. What can I do?

I have sentry safe that i bought with keys need reset combo

If there is a reset combination it's unlikely anyone is going to tell you otherwise you would have free access to any other locked Sentry safe. A locksmith who deals with the brand or Sentry themselves will probably be able to do it for you if it's possible.
