Fujitsu Inverter ASTA09LCC - heating not working

I have the above reverse cycle airconditioner but i cannot get the heating to work. When i switch on the remote, the units Operation Indicator light and Timer Indicator light flash simultaneously. I think it has something to do with the Test Run button being pushed but the manual does not say how to fix this, apart from saying to press the Start/Stop button. Obviously I've done that and it is not the answer. Can anyone help? :)

    no heat , operation light flashes five times in intervals and the timer light flashes continuously model number AST24LBAJ

    I have the same problem, the airconditioner works fine but when i switch it to the heater - no air comes out. the operation light keeps flashing. the out outside outlet makes a noise as if it is working but no hot air is coming out. HELP!

    I have similar issues only the fan is working but cooling and heating is not anyone got any ideas why

Use a pen to hit the reset button on the remote.

    I found that if you go to the meter board and turn off the power as bobofel said above. Still can't get the fan to work though.
    Not good if I have to go through this every winter.

Try to reset the unit by unplugging the power supply or off the circuit breaker for 10 sec. the "on" again and operate the unit. But if it wont work You need a qualified technician to correct the problem.

What does 3 green led flashes in sequence, operation led off mean on Fujitsu ASTA09LCC aircond
This means a "Serial reverse transfer error during the operation"
Diagnosis:
When the indoor unit does not receive the signal for 10 consecutive seconds during the operation
>Permanent stop after 30seconds.
[Diagnosis Point]
Check the indoor /outdoor cable connection (in order). If the cable wiring is not abnormal, measure the voltage of the outdoor
unit terminals and diagnose the defective location.
(Refer to the after mentioned [Serial Signal Diagnosis] for the voltage measuring method and diagnosis method.)

This is generally caused by a faulty controller board in the outdoor unit. Often they are shorted out by geckos or bugs but sometimes a power surge.

Timer light flashes twice on my asta09lcc but it wont work
If operation light is normal and timer light flashes twice, the error is:
Serial signal (reverse) error, at operation start up
Most likely a faulty outdoor controller PCB. Around $250 for new board plus labour.

FUJITSU Indoor Inverter ASTA09LCC/ASTA12LCC airconditioning - not cooling
If the operation button is flashing 8 times, the timer light should also flash 4 times in each sequence. This indicates a failure of the PFC circuit in the outdoor unit which basically means a faulty outdoor board and will have to be replaced.
If the operation light is flashing 8 times by itself, the indoor controller board may have a fault. You can normally test this by putting the mode on the remote to 'Fan' and checking that the controls otherwise work normally - louvers work as directed and fan speed changes correctly when selected on the remote.
Most likely the fault lies in the outdoor board but you should contact a tech to diagnose correctly.

Fujitsu Inverter ASTA09LCC Where is the drain tube located? The air con is leaking water and I believe drain may be blocked.
It is directly behind & thru the wall to outside next to the refer. piping.Everything goes outside thru a 3" hole. tube should b there.Blow it out.good luck

How do you clean the filters in the Reverse Cycle Wall Mounted Airconditioner. I have removed them but unsure which way to clean dust etc.
