Compressor or evap probly gittn worn..havin it pressure tested will confirm. And that means get a new fridge or good used cause itll cost less then repair

Condenser fan motor or motor wiring is bad. That compressor should never run without the fan. Good luck.

I would avoid even using this device. there is a good possibility it will burn out your compressor. Most compressors have a run capacitor tat improves the power use and if it is not in the circuit the compressor can be damaged. I advise using the correct start device for this unit.

If it has fan to deliver cold air, and it is not working, cold air is stuck on the begining. So your fan could be dead. And I suppose, that compressor is running all the time. Even compressor could stert freezing if fan does not deliver cold air in fridge. The other option is, that there is not enough gas in the compressor. In this case compressor vould not be freezing, but line, going out of compressor has to be hot, if it is not, there is no gas.

if it is a squeeking noise it could be that the bearing on the fan motor is going out, if it is a tapping noise or a fluttering or maybe even a thuding the fan blade is hitting something like papper,mouse,insulation that was taped to the fridge for either sound barrier or temp. control.You will need to pull refrigerator out and use 1/4 or 5/16 nut driver and pull back cover off to determine the cause, be sure to er-install cover for if you do not it will not keep compressor cool there fore temp. in fridg. will not be consistant.

Alan if the power was off for less than 5 minutes the compressor high pressure went to the low side and the compressor just will not start. The thermal overload Klixon will click about every 8 or 9 minutes and the compressor will not start.
Unplug it for about 30 minutes and then plug it back to see if it lites off and runs correctly.
As for the control panel... (fingers crossed) hopefully it is a symtom of the compressor not starting. Again unplug it for 30 minues and restart it after that. It just may get things back to normal without any repair service.

The compressor overheated. Unplug the Ref for 20-30 min. to let the compressor cool. Remover the back cover so you can see the compressor, this will help it cool off. A window fan set to blow on the compressor will help.

When the compressor is cool enough to touch plug it back in. It may start and run just fine or if it just clicks and does not run, replace the compressor relay.
