Hi, My Riso RP3700 won't power up. It started by us having to wait about 10minutes from turning it on before any life kicked into the machine. Now its completely dead. I've checked the fuses and changed the battery. Any suggestions?

This is very difficult to resolved you need a technical personel to resolve it. You need to replace either your main power supply unit or the controller board. Ussualy if your machine is totally no power you need power supply unit. You need to removed the back cover of your machine and check if some LED in controller boards lit on. if you see some LED lit on your technical people can reprogram the firmware by putting a flash memory but if same problem persist you need to change the main power supply.

My rp 3700 keeps jamming. It is accepting too many pieces of paper. not sure what to do

Risographs being high speed printers have the separation rollers which if dirty will pull more papers in. Clean the rollers well . Isopropyl helps.

Riso rp3700 drum is stuck

Assuming that it is still in the locked position. Open the top and observe the position of the drum. Rotate the drum the normally locked position. i.e. The master clamp on the drum is in about the 2 O'clock position. Put in test mode, enter 556 and push start. That may release the drum.

I have a Riso RP3700 that we have been running NCR paper on. But the pass few months I have been getting jams after a few runs of the NCR it is always the pink copy that get jam on the drum. Can someone...

All you have to do is to ensure the image is pushed down the page. Either on your graphics software or on the RP3700 itself and by using the image offset function. Try 2mm at first.
If the image is too close to the margin the paper has trouble releasing from the drum as the ink makes it stick to drum. The little hook cant then get under the paper hence jam.
I am confident this will work.
