I have a samsung LN=S4041D LCD TV that has a dark spot on the bottom right hand corner of the TV. When watching normal TV you can tell a slight darkness in the corner but you don't really notice till the screen turns to a solid color. You really can notice when watching a football game, the grass is noticably dark in the corner. What could the issue be?? screen or lamp?? thanks for your help

You could possibly be dealing with a failing LCD panel. I've seen many of the dark spots in Samsung sets and it's due to defective LCD panel tabs. The only true fix is the replace the panel which would cost more than a new TV !!!
Y-sus or Z-sus board problems it depends on the area there in, not sure on this set, but you can google this problem and you tube shows video on how to replace.
I may have had the same problem. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tK7zFBBU6p4&feature=related My tv clicked with the red liht, its a common problem with Samsung. I watched a few of these and was able to see the bad capacitors on my tv, de-soldered and replaced them for under $5.00.
Th clicking is from the power relay. You will have to open it up, the first place to look will be the power supply module, look to see if it has any bad caps with leaking/bulging tops first, caps can look OK but can be bad due to high ESR.
Mine was doing that then it quit even turning on too so I replaced the 4 Capacitors today on the power supply board that had bulged up on the top 3 had split open they where on the top right corner of the board where the ribbon jumps from the power board to the main board with ones from Jameco Part Number 606521 they worked perfect but make sure you put them in with the correct polarity easy to do just keep an eye on it. Very simple repair and took me about 30 min to take itapart solder on the new ones and put it back together all for under $10.
This tv has issues with 4 capacitors. These caps can be replaced for about $10. They are located at the top right corner of the power supply. They will read 10v,1000uF. I had the same problem, then I replaced them wit 16v,1000uF capacitors. And presto tv!
