There's no need for a "driver" -- Windows should _directly_ support it, to let you read CD and DVD media.

However, if you want to "play" a DVD movie, you'll need to have software (either supplied by ACER or purchased online, such as PowerDVD) to play the movie.

you lost bet ...when it has a bluetooth switch it will have a hardware installed.
Best solution is got is a simple call to acer service support,the problem very very simple in 5738 machines they installed foxcom bluetooth device a very much updated version.But the drives in your cd will be broadcom drivers install aspire 3810T model bluetooth drivers.

some do and some dont, blue tooth is optional on most laptops.
the best way to find out is to try to install the blue tooth driver from the acer web site.. it will be able to tell you if it is installed.

Does it have blue tooth? Click "Start", "Connect to", "Blue Tooth", If that does not work, go to "Control Panel", then it should be there somewhere...

How do I get the top part off of the acer/aspire 5520 laptop, where the keyboard, etc. is. I am replacing the screen and bezel and cannot get the part above the keyboard off.
