Cobra microtalk will not charge

this is the sign of a damaged or dead battery pack. they can be rebuilt at Batteries Plus or replaced. I would also try alkaline batteries in the radio before spending money on new battery packs. Most rechargeable battery packs must be kept charged regularly, and should be fully discharged before recharging, or they will be damaged and end up with a limited lifespan. IF you are handy with a multimeter you can check to see that the charger is putting voltage out by placing the probes on the contacts while it is plugged in. especially if the cord is twisted or looks stretched, but generally it is the battery not the charger.

Why my laptop runs slow when i disconnect the power cable although the battery is fully charged. After reconnecting the power cable the laptop runs normally at good speed, why? is there any problem with...

When you run on the battery the laptop reduces or stops certain things to conserve battery power. Haven't you ever noticed that once you remove the power cord the screen goes dimmer. The laptop is conserving energy and that will cause it to perform at a slower pace or speed.

Unplugged laptops generally go into power saving mode. They will slow the CPU speed, stop the hard drive more often and lower the brightness of the screen (big power savings) all that good effort is lost when you remember that the power supply you use to charge the battery is making more heat . When you reattach it to the power adapter it goes back to Full Power Mode, and recharges the battery as well.

Here's a rule of thumb that I always follow. If i'm near an electrical outlet, I use the power cord. I never use my battery unless there is no electrical outlet near by. This way my battery is always charged for times that I really need to use it.

Regarding back up of battery

LOL, Nope, there is no problem with the battery. That's the way it's supposed to work.

The braun 5510 shaver.. rechargeable or not

If working properly, model 5510 will work either from the internal rechargeable batteries or directly from the cord. If your shaver no longer recharges, it needs to have the rechargeable batteries replaced.

Sorry but does the dw911 xe type 1 radio charge the battery

Yes, the DeWalt radio will recharge the batteries, from the 12 Volt to 18 Volt versions. However, even with the radio plugged into an AC outlet, you have to either have the radio turned on, or have the unit in the AUX setting, in order for the batteries to get charged.

It typicaly takes about an hour +/- to fully charge a discharged battery. I normally don't put batteries directly into a charger right after they become discharged from being used in a tool, since they are still warm from use and charging them will generate more heat in the recharging
process.

Heat is the enemy of rechargeable batteries, so to get the longest working life out of your batteries, I'd let them cool down first, before recharging them, unless you absolutely need to use them right away, then go ahead and recharge them. If you can delay recharging them until they've cooled down, you'll get a more fuller recharge out of them.

Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

How to charge battery in Motorola Talkabout Distance DPS

You can obtain a wall adapter style charger for your radio at your local Motorola dealer, or online at http://www.eradiostore.com/cart/index.php?target=products&mode=search&subcats=Y&type=extended&avail=Y&pshort=Y&pfull=Y&pname=Y&epcode=Y&q=htn8232

Sidenote: The rechargeable battery is good for about 2 to 3 years. You can tell the age of your battery by looking at the date code on the back of the battery above the stop sign. The first number is the year, the next two numbers are the week of the year. 915 would be 2009 the 15th week. (Or if very old it could be 1999 the 15th week.) A good battery, when charged will go an 8-10 hour day.

Keep both of your charge trays, replacements for these are no longer available.
