Hi, Error code E20 keeps on popping up on my Electrolux EWF 1470. I've manually drained and cleared the filter, the outlet hose is not kinked and really not sure what else to do. Any suggestions?

Hello - Does the unit make a humming noise? If so, either the drainage hose/pump is clogged and needs to be cleaned, or you have another issue with the door lock assembly or the timer and control board not communicating correctly.
E20 is an error code for a drain pump issue. The error will reset itself if the issue has been resolved. If it or another code continued to appear, then the unit has not been accurately fixed.
Drainage problem. If it is a new installation the possible causes can be: - The drainage hose is too deep in the drain (can only be max. 10 cm. in the drain, and the drain height may be a minimum of 30cm and a maximum of 80cm from the floor); - The drainage pump may be blocked (clean it); - The drain is clogged.

E20 error code measn blocked filter. Removing the blocked
filter you have to remove the water from inside by using the small
flexible tube which located next to the filter at the right bottom of
the machine. Then the only think it still remains was to unscrew and
clear the filter.
E20 is difficulties in draining for washing. which can be drain tube kinked or blocked, drain filter clogged or dirty or the pump impeller behind filter is getting jammed by a coin or cotton or anything wrapped around it, remove filter and look at back of hole and see if impeller will turn use a long screwdriver to turn it, obviously with the power off
• E10 = there is no water filling
• E20 = the water is not drained
• E40 = door open

Check water "forreign object trap". It's under the lid at the bottom of the machine. First drain water by pulling out the hose and pull out the plug. Then unscrew the trap. Have had this E20 error twice. First it was two coins there, next it was a big paperclip. Have worked fine ever since.
